This is tricky. I presume you got down to "mail/local folders/inbox".
Then you probably have a bunch of empty folders under that. But in the
same directory, there should be files that match the names of the empty
folders, and that is where your mail is. Not sure what the empty folders
are for, unles that is where mail goes when you compact you mail.
