Many thanks to all of you who tried to help me fix my font problem. I finally used the system recovery part of my hard drive, which deleted all that was on my computer when I bought it. It then reinstalled it. It did not, however, delete any of my programs that I had put on the hard drive. My mail sending and delivery was messed up for a while, but I just called the cable company and they walked me through that problem. I just downloaded about 300 emails!!!! I feel like my font was changed to those squiggly symbols by a virus in an email that I must have opened by mistake. Again, thanks for all the advice.
