No. PII's started at I believe 233mhz and were Slot 1. An Intel 166mhz is a Socket 7 CPU and came in MMX and non-MMX versions. "32k" is not RAM, but the amount of cache. There's L1, L2, and in newer CPU's L3 cache where "L" is the Level where the cache is located. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) http://ComputersCustomBuilt.com -----Original Message----- Wolfgang Rohloff (WH) Hi Gents/Ladies Can someone on this list please tell me what the Beginning Specs for a Pentium 2 pc is? Is a Pentium MMX with a 166Mhz cpu considered a P2?? Also it only has 32Kb of ram. All info would be greatly appreciated.
