I have two laptops at home.
Each in the same room.
One "A" is hard wired to a linksys and provides the internet for the other. "B"
"A" also have a wireless card so it can connect in an ad hoc mode with "B".
Each time I start up "B" it connects with the Peer to Peer (adhoc) and I have to go to Services and hit start then go back to "view wireless network connections" and to the wireless tab and check "use windows to configure wireless network connections". It will then connect to the linksys ok.
I will have to do this each time I start my "B" computer.
By the way both connections have excellent signal strength. I thought it I could just disable the peer to peer connection but can't seem to figure out how to do that. It connects even with the computer "A" off.
Any help will be appreciated.
