That is the software that lets you use the drive like a floppy disk. It
loads a driver at startup. Roxio did a lousy job uninstalling itself. Try
the software that Elaine mentioned in her post. That should do it.

If it doesn't you can go to the start menu/run and type in msconfig. You'll
get a window that has a start up tab. You should be able to find the Roxio
software listed there and just uncheck it.

When clicking on for details this is what comes up.
When clicking on the patch.. I can not find anything there that will
help remove it.. but only to upgrade or to purchase other products.

Thanks,
Liz

Subject: PCWorks: removing direct cd

I am having an ongoing problem.. every time I turn my pc on
this 'yellow banner comes up in the task bar'..

"Devices or applications disabled will cause Windows to become
unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers from loading click
here for more details"

Sometime back I removed Roxio from my pc and since this pesky
thing continues to appear every time I turn on my pc.
Last February Larry sent "Roxizap.exe" .. this did not get rid of it
either..

Is there anyway for me to get rid of this.. as it sure is a nuisance??

Thanks a million..
Liz
