Harold, try looking in your C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data folder for these files.

FYI, this folder is a hidden system folder so remember to make them seen beforehand.

Hello again ... I have Outlook Express 6. My mail is coming in and going out fine. I'd like to back up the mail folders "just in case" ... however, I find no dbx files, and no folder.dbx. In other words, I don't know where those inbox, outbox, etc. folders are found.

Our archives (Vic and Gerry) talk about C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{long number here}\Microsoft\Outlook Express and C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook Express.

Problem ... In my Windows directory, I find no "Application Data" folder, no less anything in it. A search reveals nothing either. Now all my email has to be *someplace* in the computer; they give me no trouble ... any suggestions? --- Harold
