I didn't get any replies on this problem but I seemed to have fixed it by:
1.unchecking the box "allow M$ to configure wireless"
2. Clicking OK, going back in and checking the box again.

I guess this reset something back to default.

Subject: PCWorks: Wireless network not showing.

Running Windows XP Home.
For some reasons, some changes I made a few weeks ago are causing no wireless
networks to show up. Even at
home, I can connect to to the wireless, but when I go to wireless networks,
none are showing.
I can check on status and it shows my strength, but when I go to wireless
networks, none are showing.
