I'm afraid that your machine is sorely under staffed in memory.  If you
are doing any graphics work, you should have a minimum of 256 meg and
preferably 512 or more in memory.  You might be able to coax it a bit by
using a memory cleaner that gives back any available, but not released
memory.  I use Free Ram XP Pro which keeps my available memory as high
as possible.  Its available free from

I have it on both xp pro and xp home.

BTW, if you meant to say that you are running sp1, then you should also
consider updating to sp2 as well.
