The best one that I have found (it doesn't run out of memory or hit the index wall) is DoubleKiller

There is a free version and a pro ($$) version. You can set the filter to look for just one extension or several depending on what you are in need of reducing.

Anyone have any experience with any of the free ones? I have a ton of digital pix that I need to get all on one machine. Each machine has some duplicates and some unique to that machine only.

When you use these duplicate file finders, can you just scan one directory, or do you have to scan your entire computer? I have a network here, so can simply move everything to one machine and was hoping then to be able to sort it all out on there.
