First of all check inside the case and make sure that the CPU fan is
working. Also check  Power supply, check that the fan is working, even
if it is put in another power supply and check if the computer still
reboots . It could be that your machine is overheating .

Subject: PCWorks: random rebooting

My computer has started rebooting itself.  Where should I start looking?

Started out about once a month now about once every other day or so.

Computer is 5 year old clone running WinXP. Over the years I've replaced
the hard drive and power supply.
