PCWorks: A Dell A920 all in one printer not seen on a network

I have a laptop at home that we use to remotely connect to another 
computer in another town. The printer at the laptop location is a Dell 
A920 all in one type and it does not show up when using the remote 
desktop computer. I have tried with an HP all in one type also and it 
acts the same way. Does anyone know if there is a way around this 
without buying another printer? I can not seem to find anything on Dells 
site. (so far)
