When I send an e-mail from yahoo mail, the
time zone for the e-mail is stamped as
pacific time. I am in the eastern time zone
so the stamp is three hours earlier than the
local time at which I wrote the e-mail.
If you add three hours to the time stamp
you get the correct local time for the
e-mail.
Is there a way to correct this by programming
the yahoo e-mail service?

Yahoo also offers a calendar service and you can
go into their options section and select the time
zone that you are operating in, but that does
affect the e-mail time zone.
