those folders, however, and look at the listed tasks, you'll see that they are
different from the My Docs tasks. In fact, they are tasks related to Music,
video and pictures..I'm kind of surprised you didn't just do that.

Response:
Hugh, I'll always be respectful of the brief comments you make which are so
helpful to so many. Here I don't even know what "my tasks" refers to. The
*only* folders I have related to what you are saying are: "My Documents". And
that folder I never use, except for "My Pictures" inside it (which I do keep
*only* for the screensaver, "My Pictures Slideshow" and which I also seldom
use).

If these folders are targets for saving material (which they might be by
default), I've changed that, making my desktop the target. And from there I'll
work on whatever I've saved and then save it to another appropriate folder
that I might keep in the root c-drive and/or in my back-up (flash) drive.

The music and video folders are on my "delete" list (1) because I don't use
the computer much for that, (2) because I'm reluctant to clog up the c-drive
with big memory items like music and video, and (3) where I might keep what I
do have would be in my flash drive - all in appropriately named folders.
Regarding "I'm kind of surprised you didn't just do that" ... what was it that
I was supposed to do?

Regarding "My Documents" a question I once asked that was never answered has
to do with a folder inside "My Documents" (in addition to "my pictures") and
it has the name "filelib" (which when deleting, keeps coming back). Every once
in a while, like I just noticed when looking into it right now, I'll find an
empty folder with a grandchild's AIM screen name. And those folders are easily
deletable. Anyone, what is that "filelib" folder for? --- Harold
