Radium is a DAW with support for Pd embedded. Previously only Linux
supported Pd embedded, but in Radium 8.2.52 macOS supports it as well.
Windows will support it soon.

Full announcement of Radium 8.2.52:

This release contains a couple of new features, lots of bug fixes,
lots of minor improvements, and some optimizations.

The biggest new feature this time is a new Pd instrument, called Pd2,
this time based on libpd instead of libpds. This means that it's not
only available on Linux, which was the case for the old Pd1
instrument. It also means that you can use your own externals in
addition to the ones included with Radium. In Pd1, you could only use
the externals that were included with Radium. The Pd2 instrument is
available for macOS already, and it should be available for Windows in
the next release. The following externals are included: cyclone,
ekext, else, ggee, hcs, iemlib, iemmatrix, iemnet, list-abs, mrpeach,
osc, slip, unauthorized, windowing, and zexy.

Here is a (very short) demonstration video for the Pd2 instrument:

And here's the very old videos to demonstrate the Pd1 instrument,
running in Radium 1.9 (2013):

The Pd2 instrument contains the same features as the Pd1 instrument.

On Mac, the Blowfish demo song has been enabled. This is the
second-oldest demo song for Radium, but until now it has only been
available on Linux since it requires a Pd instrument. The song is made
by Bart Brouns, https://magnetophon.nl

Another new feature is that the main menus have been replaced by a
hamburger menu in the lower left corner of the main window. This saves
a lot of space. In addition, there's been a lot of improvement to menu
handling, so the menus should be much faster to use now than before.

The default color set have been slightly updated with stronger and
less gray colors. If you preferred the old colors more, they are also
available in the Color settings under the name "Old". The very old
color set, from before Radium 3.0 or thereabout have been removed from
the program. If anyone wants to contribute a new light-mode color set
(or dark-mode), please send it to me.

Changes 8.1.54 -> 8.2.52:
(probably not that relevant to the Pd mailing list)
