Hans and others working on pd-extended,

It appears that the gui gets stuck even in version 0.42.x. Namely, when a lot
of gui activity is taking place concurrently (bang buttons, sliders, number
boxes), after a while and at seemingly random times even in 0.42.5 pd-extended
the gui stops responding. However, if my memory serves me correctly this time
it appears that bang buttons and object creation/movement/deletion continues to
work but the sliders and number boxes do not reflect any changes (come to think
of it I haven't checked the toggle boxes), whereas I remember (potentially
incorrectly) that before even bang buttons failed to work. So far the only lead
is that in the said configuration we use a lot of sliders while when they are
not being used, the system remains stable (or at least stable for as long as
we've tested it which amounts to approx. couple minutes of continual data
changes/updates).

Could the slider be the potential culprit?
