that doesn't make it any better practice. what's the benefit of putting volatile binary data into a repository? most users don't ever have a need to to visit the repository. a repository is for source code. it is *not* the place to download binaries from. for this you have "release pages" or whatever. so the proper solution is to direct the end users to the proper place to get the built-data. gfmards IOhannes
