Expected in: flat namespace
...this is a variable from GEM (CPPExtern::m_holdname): probably
from some old gem header #include'd in the compile somewhere...but I
don't think gridflow should need gem to load...one way around this
would be to try and load gem before gridflow, or better fix the
source problem...
