[PD] Pd 0.40-1 doesn't work on Panther 10.3.9

Hi all

 I'm on G4 1,33ghz, OsX 10.3.9 and Pd 0.40-1 simply doesn't work and 
don't give any crash or error...maybe i need Tiger?
