You mention before that DD will be 99% compatible with Pd. I am
wondering what the 1% that is incompatible. It would be good to know
what the differences will be.

or else just update your existing checkout like this:
cd pd
cvs update -r desiredata
because if you just do "cvs update", you will just wipe DesireData
from that directory (as I removed DesireData from devel_0_39 and
doing just cvs update would sync with that).
The reason for this, is that the number of differences between the
regular devel_0_39 and DesireData is increasing too much these
days, and especially the upcoming changes this month.
