I am aware of that but we are in a situation where we wish to port a Max/MSP
external to PD and are opting to going with flext because if we do this,
then the original maintainers won't have to deal with two different code
bases and as such are more likely to opt for maintaining flext port
themselves.

So, what we need is an example of a simple port from Max/MSP external to see
what are relationships between the two, knowing that it may not be as
straightforward as originally thought.
