hi, another thing that I ran into, and that I don't really like (but maybe I am to evil, or I have a wrong understanding of the gpl...) is the fact that pd-extended has a more restrictive licence policy than pd itself, which is probably due to the licence policy of some of the externals. it is the question of how to develop patches for corporate clients, who do not want to publish their application code. I am not sure if this is ok (to keep your patches disclosed) and I think I could not use pd-extended for such situations. marius.
