Grumpiness aside ;) I also get only black when using gem2pdp-help.pd, this is on Mac OS X 10.4.11/Intel using Pd-extended 0.40.3-20080522.
The teapot shows up fine in the gemwin, but when i start the metro to send the frames to pdp, both the pdp_glx win and the gemwin go black. In order to restore the image to the gemwin, I have to stop the gem2pdp metro, then destroy the gemwin and recreate it. .hc On May 22, 2008, at 5:13 PM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > IOhannes m zmoelnig wrote: >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >>> ola, >>> >>> i dunno if someone maintain it anymore too, >>> but gem2pdp is absolutely broken, >>> doesn't compile and the latests changes >>> were not mine.. >> >> they are mine... > yes, i saw the latest svn version can _compile_ > with latest gem cvs ( some sport involved there ), > but pdp2gem and pix_2pdp do not work, > i get black or no-output in both case. > a no-output video patch is a concept, ok.. >> >>> >>> i still maintain a gem2pdp-0.5 that works >>> with gem 0.90, >> >> ...in order to get API changes for 0.91 right. >> > yes, but the ultimate officially available gem is 0.90, > so i don't know what's bundled in the extended > and if these objects work anymore ( in the extended ) > > saludos, > sevy >> fmgasdr >> IOhannes >> >> > > > > _______________________________________________ > PD-list@iem.at mailing list > UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/ > listinfo/pd-list ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- The arc of history bends towards justice. - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. _______________________________________________ PD-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
