What is the largest integer not exceeding 0 (zero)?
I've asked before, but I'll still like to know.

It's 0.

You surely mean another question instead, but I can't guess, as there would be several possibilities.

With pd floats:
  smallest number > 0 is 2^-149 = 1.40129846432482e-45
  smallest number > 1 is 1+2^-23 = 1+1.19209289550781e-07
  biggest number < 1 is 1-2^-24 = 1-5.96046447753906e-08
