it really wasn't irony (but of course it only makes sense if you knew that [pix_buffer_filmopen] is implemented as an abstraction): if you do have a modified patch of pix_buffer_filmopen and want it to be included into upcoming releases, please post it to the patch-tracker at http://sf.net/prjects/pd-gem
