Hi Listers, I'll be running an intro to Pd workshop at the Melboure Mini Maker Faire this Saturday http://makerfairemelbourne.wordpress.com/ as well as showing off some of my Arduinstruments and hacks.
I will be providing the install files to participants on usb sticks but having (shamefully) not used Linux yet I'm wondering if JACK is required with Ubuntu or Debian installs? (I have grabbed the install info page from pd.info as well.) I'd like to make sure I'm as prepared as possible assuming terrible web access. Any advice is appreciated. thanks -- Richie
