OK I just saw some stuff about this in the archives (e.g. try [pmpd/pmpd2d]) but that didn't work and neither pmpd2d nor its associated help file appear anywhere on my drive. This is Pd-extended 0.43.4 release on ubuntu 12.04 32 bit installed using these directions at the top: http://puredata.info/docs/faq/debian
