Hello,

If you want/need the last version of Gem (and if you are ok with a
terminal) :
$ git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/pd-gem/gem
$ cd gem
$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install

Should do it.
