i'd rather say: your it department causes problems. they could also prevent Pd from writing a preferences file (instead of preventing Pd from modifying the registry), in which case the current behaviour would have been the "correct" one. if they were interested in not accumulating cruft, they probably should wipe the registry on logout. gfdsar IOhannes
