> thanks for that one, specially useful if you set your backgound black. a little trick i discover in the raspi-config tool is the pixel doubling option. it greatly improves the framerate. i wish there was a way to even cut on color resolution, like using 8 bit or even 7 bit color instead of 16 to improve the framerate even more. cheers r.y
