Yes, it is a current limitation. For now, you can tell them to double click on any folder name at any level in the browser and it should open that folder within their system's file browser. This is true with any entry in the help browser, ie. double click on am html file and it should open in the system's default web browser.
I intend to look at the PR again and see if it's possible to resolve the visual issues.
