ah thanks, that's the trick.so the new resizing code kicks in if you ever change the default font of the Pd-console. since this change is remembered in the GUI-settings, the console is resized for future restarts of Pd (until you clear all the settings).
it's probably something that ought to be fixed, but I think it's low priority (as in: let's not hold this back the Pd-0.54 release)
