winget packages had been updated for 0.56-1
to install on a Windows10|11 system open a terminal and do:
winget install puredata
or to install the experimental double presicion:
winget install pd64

This fixes a problem in 0.56-0 which could prevent Pd from starting
up on
macintoshes on which the menus were not in the English language,
along with several other problems for all platforms.

as usual, Linux users can get their binaries via flatpak, Ubuntu/PPA
and Debian (sid for now; forky will hopefully follow in a few days;
trixie-backports are not yet open (it's too soon after the
Debian/trixie release), but once it is open, I will of course also
upload there)
other distros will surely follow soon.
