I understand this is a reaaaaally old message thread but what is the solution to this problem please? I just tried to use my ADAT interface on my SGI Octane to play out more than 2 channels of audio and ran into this issue again.
ALsetchannels: invalid number of channels: 8 I’m running pd-032-irix on IRIX 6.5.22 If someone can kindly point me to the solution that would be appreciated! And in case you can point me to a newer version compiled for IRIX that would be fantastic!
