I mean personally as a member organization I don’t want a commercial company like Inflect accessing PII or CUI and monetizing me. I don’t consider that to be in the spirit of the project.

The only thing authentication does is allow access to network contacts. Is there something specific you're trying to accomplish that's not happening with the unauthenticated API?
