It was on purpose, to make sure that people know what they are doing.
But I admit it may be unconvenient and we should probably not assume that
people cannot have a good reason to select root.
Normally, pdbv do not run as root via cron. Klaus, did you selected
root by yourselves?
If not, can you provide the output of
cat /etc/passwd | grep nobody
If yes, can you explain why?
Anyway, I think that I'll modify the behavior to print the warning
only if --cron= is unset. It will be done for 2.0.4.
