Submitted by: yeupou Project: Package DataBase View
Submitted on: Fri 10/18/02 at 18:26
Category: modules Severity: 1 - Ordinary
Bug Group: Bug Resolution: Wont Fix
Assigned to: yeupou Status: Closed
Summary: listing by date weird with RPM
Original Submission: Listing by date in month alphabetical order. This is
stupid. It should be easy to fix but it's not on the top priority (for
instance, the execution time for this listing output is).

This issue will be fixed once it will be easy using RPM (or, once I know how to
do with ease).

Your assumption seems correct.
At http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/pdbv/ in the news box, the same link is
ok.

Finally it works for dpkg based distros. But it requires a recent ls version.
Ok for gnu coreutils, in Debian sarge/sid, but not in Debian Woody.
Listing by date will be available only for user that have a ls supporting
--time-style=+%Y
Need know to check the rpm based case.
