I'm having trouble getting the extended character set drawn to the screen on certain platforms. Works fine on Watcom (DOS and Win32), but DJGPP, Borland and mingw are showing solid boxes instead of the characters above 128 (in the ASCII character set). Tried looking through to see if anything was #ifdef'd differently for this between Watcom and the other compilers, but didn't notice anything. Is there anything specific you need to do to get extended characters to display for the various compilers?
