Replying to Andy, my documents are created in FrameMaker. To do the screenshot, I do a print screen and take the image into PaintShop Pro where I crop and size it, then import it into FrameMaker as a referenced file. I create the PDF from the FrameMaker book by printing to Acrobat Distiller and then distilling the postscript file. The images are tiffs at 600 dpi and average about 600 kb. No color except a vertical strip on the cover page.
