Hi: A coworker has scanned 600 pages into TIFFs, cleaned up the pages, then pulled the TIFFs into Acrobat: a process she does every day - one of her duties is to make old publications available in PDF format. However, although all the pages look fine in Acrobat 5, when she prints, the 2nd, 4th, 6th, ... pages are flipped which means that you have to hold them up to a light source, print down to read them. Our scanner will scan both sides at the same time so when she brought the TIFFs in, she applied the Rotate even pages option in Acrobat which appeared to rotate the pages but in fact, the option both rotated and flipped the pages. When she takes a flipped page and rotates it back 180 degrees, it appears on screen upside down (not flipped) and prints fine although upside down. Any ideas? If necessary, we will have to rotate the TIFFs but we thought the rotate option in Acrobat was sufficient. --------------------------------------------------------- Julian Rickards Digital Publications Distribution Coordinator Publications Services Section Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines Phone: (705) 670-5608 Fax: (705) 670-5690 To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfbasics.html
