Pagemaker will work correctly in CMYK mode but you do need to ensure that all images have been previously converted to CMYK, from RGB. The same applies to any other embedded graphics. This means that you should refrain from any tendency to 'cut and paste' across different applications. We find that it is always best to import and link to .eps (CMYK)images. Other than that going from Pagemaker to Acrobat is as painless as it gets. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Pablo Hernandez Sent: 13 November 2003 20:33 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PDF-Basics] need help PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________ having great difficulty with pagemaker7 trying to make a file in to CMYK. how can I do something like this and converted to a pdf file, can anyone help me I am using Acrobat 6 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leonard Rosenthol" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2003 9:35 AM Subject: Re: [PDF-Basics] DETERMINE SIZE OF ACAD .DWG TO PDF > > PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ > __________________________________________________________________ > > At 4:03 PM -0500 11/12/03, kent mccoy wrote: > >having great difficulty with acrobat 3.1re determining display size > >of a pdf conversion---i save the acad file(.dwg) as an eps --then i > >drag it over the distiller icon on my desktop and i do get a pdf but > >god knows who's determining the size it comes out??--if you go to > >distiller prefs--you will find default page size that you can set at > >anything you want to but dosent seem to get the job done--the pdf's > >keep coming out tiny little things---yes you can enlarge with zoom > >feature but its so tidious--can one get a larger conversion?? > > > > > > If you upgrade to Acrobat 6, you'll have a new button in your > AutoCAD application for direct PDF conversion... > > > Leonard > -- > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - > Leonard Rosenthol <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Chief Technical Officer <http://www.pdfsages.com> > PDF Sages, Inc. 215-629-3700 (voice) > 215-629-0789 (fax) > > To change your subscription: > http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfbasics.html > > To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfbasics.html To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfbasics.html
