Some inkjets do NOT support x-up printing.
One way I found to overcome this is to print to distiller or to PDF (A6) and define your x-up PDF page construction in Acrobat.
The new PDF file now is x-up page ready.

Hmm, I've just got an HP inkjet (DeskJet 870Cxi) I've not seen any sign it supports this, but I'll have a look.

Thanks
Martin

many desktop and multi-function printers support multi-page layout (X-up).
Select this option when you print your PDF files.
This is native in most Postscript printers and the newer PCL printers.

Hi All,

I'm looking for a pdf viewer that allows me to print 2 pages per paper side. Windows platform preferred, cost free!

Can anyone recommend such a viewer?

Thanks
Martin
