What application is creating the envelope? Are you using PDFMaker in MS Word. If you are using MS Word, have you checked that you have selected to Embed all fonts and Subset to 100% in Distiller/PDFMaker Advanced Settings. PDFMaker will sometimes not embed fonts correctly, but will print correctly. If  the envelope is printed right away before saving to PDF, it prints out with the font it was created it in.  However, when I save it to PDF and then print, the font is changed (using the same printer).  I have Acrobat 6 Professional.
