[PDF-Basics] problem creating ps file

I'm having problems creating a PDF from a .ps file from a specific pagemaker file and it seems to be specific to THIS file as I have no problems with other Pagemaker files.  I've created PDFs from ps from this file before - this just started.   I can use the export function in PM to create the PDF, I can't create the pdf from the PS file using the Print command   The error log reports the following:   %%[ Error: typecheck; OffendingCommand: get ]%%   Stack: /PaintType 1 [/Pattern [/DeviceGray]] 1   Can anyone tell me what this means and what I must do to correct it?   Many Thanks   Pat
