Greg,

I had a similar issue in the past and I was not terrible impressed with the functionality within adobe.  I downloaded some freeware called PDF Meld. (It is free if it is for personal use)  I then create a batch file that automated the process for me.  I use it for closing packages which usually range up to 60 pages and have had few issues.

Subject: [PDF-Basics] Batch Processing Into A Single File

I am new to batch processing with Adobe.  I have been able to select multiple .doc files and have them batch processed into pdf files.  Does anyone know of a way to combine multiple .doc files into a single pdf file through batch process.  For example, I have a correspondence folder that, ideally, the 20 or 30 individual doc files could be combined into a single pdf.

Thanks for any help.
