There are always potential issues, but the workflow should be successful. 1. You haven't mentioned which version of Quark you are using. Version 4 will need a PDF import/export filter. This feature should be built into 5 and 6. 2. PDFs need to be correctly made: i.e., fonts embedded, resolution correct, CMYK color space, etc. 3. PDFs need to be compatible with 1.4 or earlier. 4. You may run into issues with transparency, or if files are exported. Those are just a few thoughts.
