   I'm unsure of what the following two fields of the
   pdf_fsys_item_props_s are for and how to determine them:

           * pdf_bool_t is_checked_out;
           * pdf_bool_t is_published;

   Jose, can you give me some background on these?

Finally we are not going to use these attributes. Please delete them
from both the documentation and the code.
