Hi, I've just checked libcheck configuration steps explained in this post:
http://blog.albertmeronyo.com/?p=19 and sources retrieval, config, compilation and install work well for me. As I'm not quite sure of what's exactly your problem, please paste the steps followed, commands issued and output obtained in order to solve it.
