The Acrobat 6.0 _javascript_ Scripting Reference describes the doc.SubmitAs method which enables you to submit an entire PDF in an FDF. However, I cannot find any up-to-date documentation on the FDF ActiveX to tell me how I can get that PDF out again. Does anyone know how to do this or where I could find that information?
My company sells a forms package which creates interactive PDF forms connected to a forms server complete with server side scripting and database connectivity. We can include digital signatures on the form. We submit form data through an FDF but we have to mail the signed documents. Submitting the signed PDF in the FDF would be a much better way to go if I could figure out how to do it. Any advice in implementing this feature would be appreciated.
