I believe that the 2k limit applies to the total amount of data of all the forms a user is using. That is, if the first two forms need a total of 2k of memory, the third form is going to mess up the approach. It's obvious that 2k is insufficient for the purpose.

Can someone confirm that www.readersave.com works with Adobe Reader
6.0?

It seems to works fine with versions 4, 5 and 6.

It ~should~ work, since it uses JavaScript features that are unchanged. But
since the amount of data that can be persistent is significantly less with
Acrobat 6, it's usefulness is less.

George

Shame on you, M. Adobe ! These intrigues do not honour your name...

George, you may try my sample. I'd tested it with Reader 6, 2 Kb of datas could be sufficient in most cases.

Finally, I agree with M. Adobe, 32 Kb datas storage was too large and useless... Think about all those unused lonely bytes lost on all those modern hard discs !

;-)))
