A few month ago, I'd downloaded a file named "dyn_fax.pdf" but I can't remember where...
This PDF doc uses an "Overflow script, by Joshua See"
In this example, text overflowing the Text Form on the 1st page is transferred to the next, and trancated beyond that.
I hope this may be usefull for your intend.

Does anyone know of a way to determine in JavaScript that the text in a field will not fit with the current font size?� Then I could detect that case and set the font size to auto.
